World Badminton Championship 2011 : Saina Nehwal lost to Xin Wang of China in the quarterfinal

World Badminton Championship 2011, London : India's Saina Nehwal lost to Xin Wang of China 15-21, 10-21 in the women's singles quarterfinal of the World Badminton Championships here on Friday.

                     Saina, seeded sixth, went down to the third seed in 30 minutes.


                  With Saina's loss, India's challenge in the singles competition came to an end.  Parupalli Kashyap and Ajay Jayaram had earlier bowed out of the men's singles event.
